Salt Lake City

Every Christmas we try to go down to SLC to see the lights at
Temple Square and spend the night in a hotel. The kids love
this tradition. This night we met my parents and sister for dinner
and a carriage ride around Gallivan Plaza. It was so fun!
We went to the hotel and swam and then woke up the next morning for
Christmas shopping! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Harry for
making this tradition possible this year! We love you!

LL Cool I

Johnny has introduced Isaac to LL Cool J.
Isaac thinks he is the coolest rapper in the world.
I overheard this conversation coming from the Living Room.

Isaac: Hey Ness, do you know LL DJ?
Janessa: You mean LL Cool J?
I: Yeah, he's got the biggest muscles, bigger than anyone's.

Happy Birthday to Me!

We went to Outback and had dinner for my birthday. It was a fun family event. I have no idea why my kids look like they are throwing up gang signs at the camera. The food was good and Janessa thought the bathrooms were the coolest she had ever seen.
Unfortunately after dinner we found out the sad news that our little two-year old niece, Emily, was diagnosed with Diabetes. We were so sad for her! She is doing pretty well now with her routine shots and is a trooper! We love her so much!

Log Ride

After some serious convincing on my part I finally got Janessa to go on the Log Ride at Lagoon. Isaac had no fear and was on board the minute we mentioned it. Little did they know how scary it would be!

The Punkin' Patch & A New Job

Johnny and I were lucky enough to go with Isaac on his first field trip with Preschool. We went to the Black Island Farms Pumpkin Patch. It was so cute and Isaac had a blast with his preschool friends! Lea had fun too.

While we were on the wagon ride with giddy, excited kids Johnny got a call from MarketStar offering him a job! What a time to accept a job! For those who don't know, John has been out of work for two months now. We were so excited to finally have a job offer after waiting for what seemed like FOREVER! Unfortunately we weren't able to scream and jump up and down while we were on the ride. Thank you M*!

Bonding Time

Johnny and Isaac went four-wheeling up to the "B" in Bountiful yesterday. They had so much fun! They saw some deer, squirrels, birds (at least this is what Isaac told me, who knows what they really saw). I was glad that they took the camera with them and took some fun pictures! I was also glad that they came home safe! Oh, by the way, check out Isaac's outfit that he chose to wear! Hot Stuff!

Preschool

Here are some pictures of Isaac's first day of Preschool. He was so ready to go! I was so nervous that he would be upset while he was at school but he did great! He drew a picture of his favorite animal (a spider) and his favorite color is green. I am just waiting for the day I pick him up from school and Ms. Tonya has some hilarious stories for me! He did tell me that the kids at his table were laughing at him, I asked him why, and he said because he was "just being so funny"! He told me that he was pretending to ride a horse and he fell off his chair. I asked him if Ms. Tonya got upset with him for doing that and he said, "No Ms. Tonya let's me do that all the time"! Ha! Boy he must already be the teachers' pet! He is such a good little guy and I sure missed him while he was gone- we have been together just the two of us for the past 2 years!

Show & Tell

Janessa had show & Tell today. She decided to make something and she came up with this darling playground! Check out the details, she did most of the work, I helped a little with the slide. She saw me throwing away a sour cream container and she asked if she could use it, hence the darling seesaw! So creative!

On top of all that goes on in my life, I have now been called to be the Primary President in our ward! Someone tell me how Heavenly Father could really, honestly, be able to do this to a woman with a newborn! Just kidding! It is going well so far- John may need to be released soon to help with Lea though!
