This year we celebrated Christmas early with the Trimming Family. John and Norma were headed to Maui for a family wedding and to spend Christmas with Tutu (Grandma). We had so much fun with our family. We ate lunch at China Platter then went back to Grandma Trimming's house for presents. Thank you to them for such a wonderful Christmas!

Salt Lake City

Every Christmas we try to go down to SLC to see the lights at
Temple Square and spend the night in a hotel. The kids love
this tradition. This night we met my parents and sister for dinner
and a carriage ride around Gallivan Plaza. It was so fun!
We went to the hotel and swam and then woke up the next morning for
Christmas shopping! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Harry for
making this tradition possible this year! We love you!

LL Cool I

Johnny has introduced Isaac to LL Cool J.
Isaac thinks he is the coolest rapper in the world.
I overheard this conversation coming from the Living Room.

Isaac: Hey Ness, do you know LL DJ?
Janessa: You mean LL Cool J?
I: Yeah, he's got the biggest muscles, bigger than anyone's.
The girls love him. I am him.

Happy Birthday to Me!

We went to Outback and had dinner for my birthday. It was a fun family event. I have no idea why my kids look like they are throwing up gang signs at the camera. The food was good and Janessa thought the bathrooms were the coolest she had ever seen.
Unfortunately after dinner we found out the sad news that our little two-year old niece, Emily, was diagnosed with Diabetes. We were so sad for her! She is doing pretty well now with her routine shots and is a trooper! We love her so much!

Log Ride

After some serious convincing on my part I finally got Janessa to go on the Log Ride at Lagoon. Isaac had no fear and was on board the minute we mentioned it. Little did they know how scary it would be!
